Dear Popham Families,

We are excited to partner with you as we begin another year of learning, growth, and success for every student. At Popham Elementary, we believe that all students can achieve at high levels when we work together to provide a safe, supportive, and academically challenging environment.

This year, we will continue to maintain high expectations in academics, behavior, and social-emotional development. Our goal is to ensure that every student is equipped with the knowledge, skills, and character necessary to be successful both inside and outside the classroom.

Academic Excellence
We are committed to providing rigorous, engaging instruction that challenges students to think critically, solve problems, and reach their full potential. Students will be expected to come to school prepared to learn, participate actively, and give their best effort every day.

Positive Behavior Expectations
Creating a safe and respectful learning environment is essential for student success. We will continue teaching and reinforcing positive behaviors, responsibility, kindness, and respect. Students will be encouraged to make positive choices and contribute to a school culture where everyone feels valued and supported.

Social-Emotional Growth
We recognize that students thrive when they feel connected, supported, and emotionally secure. Throughout the year, we will provide opportunities for students to develop important life skills such as self-awareness, self-management, empathy, relationship-building, and responsible decision-making.
